Mr. Rogers was my childhood hero. He still kinda is my hero.

Funeral

I feel like I just attended a funeral for an old family friend. I remember being young and wanting to be a chef. My parents (or maybe my aunt, I don't remember) got me a subscription to Gourmet. I don't know what else to say, but this is very sad.

"Gourmet magazine was a monthly publication of Condé Nast Publications and the first U.S. magazine devoted to food and wine. Founded by Earle R. MacAusland and first published in 1941, Gourmet also covered "good living" on a wider scale.
On October 5, 2009 Condé Nast announced that Gourmet will cease monthly publication by the end of 2009, due to a decline in advertising sales and shifting food interests among the readership. Editor Ruth Reichl, in the middle of a tour promoting the Gourmet Today cookbook, confirmed that the magazine's November 2009 issue, distributed in mid-October, was the magazine's last. Some Day My Prince Will Come

I accentually fell in love with the Prince of Sweden a little. Prince Carl Philips of Sweden, Duke of Värmland is totally beautiful and an artist! When we get married my title will be Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Värmland. Nice ring to it, right? Jacquelene Cohen-Philips Princess of Sweden. Not that I am saying Jacquelene Cohen Publicity Coordinator is anything to scoff at (well…yeah I am), but Princess and Duchess…winner every time.

I didn't know this could happen to me again. These feelings of complete and unrelenting adoration for art and music. I feel invigorated, like passion has reawakened in me. I forgot about this fire. It is so good, it hurts. I feel like I am on the verge of bursting into laughter or tears at any moment. Thank you, Life, I think this is just what I needed.
